FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH

We are continuing our series this Friday, Seek First, as we discuss the topic and discipline of fasting as a follower of Christ. We'd love to see the youth come out for a time to grow in relationship with one another and grow in their faith in the Lord! I also heard that Pastor Gabriel and Soraya will be announcing the gender of their baby at youth this Friday! Don't miss it!
21 DAYS OF FASTING AND 9 RAIN SERVICES
JAN. 5-25
GC Church is entering this year with a 21 day fast to seek the Lord through prayer and fasting. We encourage the youth to take time to fast and pray this month as well, and give the first month to intentionally seeking the Lord as it helps set the tone for the rest of the year!
The name for the services is based off Zechariah 10:1. For 9 days, we will gather around Jesus, prayer, and the word, believing God for his presence, provision, and favour, as we expect God to pour out life-giving spiritual rain.
9 services, and 9 unique sermons
Weekend Services: Sat. 6:30PM and Sun. 11:00AM
Weekday Services: Mon. - Fri. at 7pm
There will be no Youth Night on the Friday night (Jan. 23), but all youth are welcome and are encouraged to come to all services! Come hungry to meet with the Lord and to gather around him! We’re expecting for great things.
GIVEAWAY DETAILS:
To encourage students to come to the Rain Services, especially the ones on the weekdays, we will be doing a giveaway for a $30 dollar gift card that will be drawn at random. For students to get their name into the draw, they will need to check in with Pastor Gabriel or Soraya with the following:
1. Their Bible
2. Their Notebook
3. 3 Takeaways from the Sermon
Entries for the giveaway will only be done for the weekday services (Jan. 19-23)! See y'all at the services!
